The Associate of Arts Concentration in Teacher Education is designed to provide a solid foundation for students who want to pursue a career in elementary education, focusing on pedagogy and practices up to third grade.

This program meets Michigan Transfer Agreement (MTA) requirements, which guarantees your 91²Ö¿â credits will transfer seamlessly to participating partner universities statewide.

Earn your bachelor’s degree — and complete student-teaching — locally through UM–Dearborn!

UM-Dearborn logoOur new partnership with the University of Michigan–Dearborn creates a clear, affordable pathway to earning a bachelor’s degree in elementary education.

Through this 2+2 articulation agreement, students complete years 1–2 at 91²Ö¿â, and years 3–4 online through UM–Dearborn, including required coursework and a student-teaching experience in nearby Northern Michigan schools.
